Mermaid Concept #2

Quickie

Just a quick look at a concept sketch I did for a client requesting a painting of a mermaid. In this one, I made her throne a giant open oyster shell with huge pearls for arm rests. I thought I could work in some overwhelming vulvic shapes and textures for some cheeky symbolism. This one wasn’t the *chosen one*. But I do like it and I may finish it some day. Maybe in acrylics with some mixed media embelshments.
