Texture Study: Glass

I really got into these studies of texture and transparent objects. I get the appeal of still life’s in general. Even if they are simple and relativly mundane. It’s still a great challenge to achieve something convincing.

I’m looking to loosen my style a bit. Not over paint or get too tight with the details. I want to maintain the energy of the brushwork and the evidence of the involvement of my hands. But still capture the form, feel and interaction of the objects there.
