Good Luck: 8/13/23
I read somewhere that paintings of dead birds were put on New Year’s & holiday cards as a symbol of good luck. This was supposed to illicit sympathy & empathy for the less fortunate.
The thought of this tickled me. Forcing me to look death in the face and telling me to see beauty, humanity, and warmth…then wish me luck
